mlwoodall 7 Posted April 25, 2022 I'm now 3 weeks post op and all of my incisions have closed and look great, except one. The one across my belly button is taking FOREVER and it seems like the scab keeps getting knocked off while I sleep or while i'm doing everyday things during the day. It's not open-open, nothing is coming out of it, i'm just worried it's going to be pulled open somehow when the scab is off. Did anyone else have this issue?Sent from my SM-G998U using BariatricPal mobile app
Grider 92 Posted April 25, 2022 With my other surgeries I put the foam neosporin and they healed pretty good. The largest one took weeks. That was the lap band and the used the same one to remove it. If you more comfortable buy a big square band aide to put on at night for a bit longer. If gets icky. Call the Dr asap

Sent from my SM-G998U using BariatricPal mobile app Hiya, you had surgery same day as me I think, April 11. How’s it going? I’m losing weight but really slowly, I’m still feeling a bit tired but really looking forward to starting ‘soft foods’ in a week. My incisions are healing, though the big one on my left side is slower than the others, it was pretty bruised. Would love to know how you are going at this stage 😊
