IWant ToDelete MyProfile 37 Posted April 1, 2022 My surgery is tentatively early June! I’m so excited!! My pre-op and post-op instructions are very similar to yours. We just talked over it but my next appointment he will be giving me all the paperwork and submitting to my insurance for final approval. 4 2 MeMaof2byz, Jhessyy33 , acopas and 3 others reacted to this

KelsVSG 6 Posted April 3, 2022 Scheduled for June 16th. I'm feeling nervous about the 2-week pre-op diet. I'm returning to the office and a little worried about being around others without caffeine and being hangry. 😅 Anything you'll are worried about? How much time do you'll plan to take off from work? 2 3 Jessica1024, Amy 2022, orange_earrings and 2 others reacted to this

I’m scared that This won’t work. I have gone and done something so drastic as to get 80%of my stomach cut out and I will be one of the people who lose 25lbs and my body just stops despite what I do. I am afraid I will have complications. That will make me regret the surgery. I’m just plan worried. Lol 1 Raquelg22 reacted to this

From Toronto Yikes 3 weeks is a long time. That will be difficult I’m sure. Do they give you a discount for the prescription on your Optifast ? It sounds expensive ! I was curious.. lol… I went and read about the Optifast. That sounds like a really good product. Yes.. 3 weeks sounds crazy to me too.. but if I dont do it.. no surgery.. its standard here in Canada.. most do Optifast.. my only concern is how its going to taste!.. lol.. not worried about the surgery.. I'm so ready for it!.. my weight has been up and down my whole life.. I can't seem to stay down.. so I need this.. my body needs this.. everything is starting to ache.. I also need a knee replacement too.. need to just stay positive..think of all the great things that comes from this.. for me its feeling better, live longer, do more things with my kids, not be the fattest one in the room, not worry about seating, and being able to buy clothing everywhere! I am a stay at home mom.. no need to worry about work.. I also don't drink coffee.. lol.. in fact, Canadas program starts by ween everyone off caffeine before surgery so it's not a problem after surgery.. need to be 2 months clean.. chocolate WAS my biggest hurdle.. but I'm ok now.. i think... lolol Edited April 4, 2022 by Laurie A Forgot 1 1 missgiggles127 and Jessica1024 reacted to this

Sorry if that seems blunt but I am interested in why people to travel to have the surgery done. And where do you live if you don’t mind me asking. 1 nursejanet95 reacted to this
