Can I ask why that was your choice ? I am just curious. Sorry if that seems blunt but I am interested in why people to travel to have the surgery done. And where do you live if you don’t mind me asking. I chose Mexico because it's cheaper and I don't have to jump through as many hoops as I would in the US. I live in Washington state the US. 1 orange_earrings reacted to this

Caryaatid 4 Posted April 8, 2022 Hi everyone, Have my date fixed for June 6th in Turkey. I live in Germany. I feel ok about the surgery but mentally quite insecure about the changes that need to come after that, as if I lack the confidence needed to execute all required life style changes. Anyone feels this way? :) how are you coping? 2 2 Desafio, MeMaof2byz, orange_earrings and 1 other reacted to this

acopas 104 Posted April 11, 2022 I'm scheduled in Mexico on June 22. My mom and I are having the procedure done on the same day. I'll return to work on Monday the 27th barring any complications. 1 orange_earrings reacted to this

acopas 104 Posted April 12, 2022 Just now, Mickeymay said: What made you choose Endobariatrics? I chose Tijuana Bariatrics. Dr. Alvarez has performed numerous procedures on people from my hometown and surrounding area. I've watched their successes and challenges from afar as I no longer live in the area. My mom who does was really only comfortable using him as well. We briefly discussed other surgeons, but she was of the mindset that you get what you pay for. Mariann812 268 Posted April 14, 2022 I am probably going to be a June surgery…obviously 🙄 my preferred date of 4/11 wasn’t to be. The last day of school is June 10-ish and I’m ready to go that day. My paper work won’t be sent to Cigna for about another week. I’m leaning towards gastric bypass and I’m meeting with my surgeon next week to discuss what he thinks. I’m looking forward to reading about everyone’s experience. 1 orange_earrings reacted to this
