Maddog 0 Posted December 13, 2007 I've just found this forum. I got my band on July 2nd and have lost 47 pounds. In a support group meeting, they told me about a book called "The Lap Band Solution". Does anyone know how to get a copy of it?

Shan71 0 Posted December 14, 2007 Hello everyone. I have just came across this forum. I am having my surgery tomorrow. I am really ready to begin this new journey. I have to say that I am really not too nervous, but am very apprehensive. I want to lose a bunch of weight and want the band to work like by pass. I look forward to the changes I will be seeing. :eyebrows:
Shan71 0 Posted December 18, 2007 Okay all. I have felt like total crap the past few days. Is this common? I do not feel like eating a thing, or drinking as when I do, no matter what amount I have the left shoulder pain. I feel as if I need to belch, but can't. Do any of you have any suggestions? I hope these crummy feelings pass soon. :help:
Mrs Husker 3 Posted December 18, 2007 Shan71 Try Gas-X strips. Those and a heating pad should help with the gas pains. Also, walk, walk, walk. This will help get the gas out also. Good luck and congrats.
