LouLouM 70 Posted March 22, 2022 (edited) I had gastric sleeve on November 29th and have been the same weight for 3 weeks. Just want to either hear, Yes, that's normal, or if perhaps I need to reevaluate what I'm eating. Thanks! Arabesque 7,398 Posted March 22, 2022 (edited) You’re ok. Stalls are very common & part of the process of weight loss. We all talk about the a stall at around the 3 week mark but they can occur any number of times while you are losing. They tend to last 1-3 weeks. Think of them as your body needing to take a breath & getting used to the changes. If it persists for more than a month, chat with your dietician. You may need a small tweak to your diet or activity. summerseeker 2,229 Posted March 22, 2022 My dietician said Bariatric weight loss was like a staircase. Drops then plateaus and drops and plateaus. I am in the 2nd of week of my 2nd stall. I always keep tabs of what I eat, just for my own peace of mind. It will break 2 Arabesque and LilaNicole20 reacted to this

I will drop 10-15 lbs really fast, and then it will slow down/stop for a bit, and then drop fast again. Repeat. I have to give myself a pep talk every time it happens! 1 summerseeker reacted to this
