I want it to heal so that I can get into the pool soon. Today is day six and I can't believe the difference in one day. Every morning when I get up I feel as though someone kicked me on the gut. It's slightly sore/stift but not near the pain. I am just tired. Anyone else want a nap Every day? I’m very itchy. Luckily with the binder on I cannot scratch. The heating pad is so good. I’m not sleeping very well but I am taking as many naps as possible. 2 Stefan15 and Possum220 reacted to this

My surgery was on a Friday and I took off through Tuesday and then began working from home yesterday and intend to continue working from home until May 30. After that I have to start going to the office 3 days per week, but that shouldn't be a problem since I will at least be on soft food by then.

I think I'm set for June 27th but waiting for hospital to confirm. Drinking soda ever again would be a huge mistake in my opinion. And my surgeons office agreed, they tell us not to. I had the sleeve to bypass and I can tell you one of my biggest downfalls was trying diet soda again when I had the sleeve. Now I’m prepared to say goodbye forever. Can stretch the stomach significantly over time.

sprukop0924 65 Posted May 20, 2022 Oh Happy Day! My program has had me on Clear Liquids for the first week. Today was my first day of FULL liquids and I feel like a new woman! lol Tomato Soup has NEVER tasted so good to me! I got SO sick and tired of the syrupy sweet Protein waters. Yuck!! 16.9 oz for 20 g of protein. I just found these on Amazon. 26 g of protein in only 2.5 oz of liquid. Has anyone tried these? I ordered a case to test out - should have by Sunday. Reviews say its sweet and tart - but at least its only 2.5 oz. That will let me get the rest of my Water requirement through WATER or something less disgusting. It takes 2 table spoons for 18gs of protein. It has a little of aftertaste when I used it but found I needed more water with it. I have grape. I don't think it's real sweet but I like the idea of only 2.5oz. I am going in to fluids tomorrow

I’m on the “notify” list for the sample pack they sell on this site. It’s sold out along with all the other packs of the same brand so it must be good! qtshanon 1 Posted May 20, 2022 Hi. Newby here. Post surgery (May 4) gastric sleeve. I’m on soft foods this week and the first day eating something I could actually chew was HEAVEN. Well, it was a couple ounces of tuna, but it felt wonderful. Up to a few days ago I was not experiencing complications, but then I started having sharp burning pains near my left incisions. It was only when I stand from sitting or bend. Now it’s more frequent and more intense. It really hurts, but the nurse says it’s a sign of internal healing and should subside in a few weeks. It feels like the opposite. More like the stitches are ripping and the burn is excruciating at times. I’ve tried wearing a binder to hold in my belly thinking the extra weight is pulling the incision, but the touch of the material seems to intensify the burning sensation. Anyone else experiencing/experienced this? Did it eventually go away? Hearing that will give me hope. 1 FarfelDiego reacted to this
