redhead_che 824 Posted May 18, 2022 Oh man. So my plan says to do 8oz Protein Shake throughout the day (sip it). It’s 5pm and I hadn’t started it so I drank a little fast, over 30 min. My advice? Don’t be me. Ooof, the burps. My tummy saying “too fast child, too fast!” 😳😳😳 1 Possum220 reacted to this

Why are they even booking you in when a bed can't be guaranteed. How disappointing. No wonder you would be losing focus. Is it possible to have a chat with the surgeon's office and let them know how this is affecting you emotionally and financially? Surely you are not the only one who is being impacted and they need to ensure that there are no more false starts. Taking care of their patients starts before the operation. Covid really is a pain. Given that this has been the situation for the past two years time to make constructive improvements to their booking system. ((Hugs)) Hi Possum, I was quite bad for 2 days tears running down my face depressed. But better now it is what it is, and you are right, we're going to be calling them on Friday to talk to the Medical Board and see where this takes us, bc it's just gone beyond a joke! the way they don't give a damb about how it's impacting people, yo yoing and playing with us like puppets!😔 1 Possum220 reacted to this

One would absolutely expect that after 2+ years, a better system was in place. Thank you for saying this. Totally agree with you Marianne♥️👏

This gas pain is killing me though and it hurts to drink anything, but it could be worse. Trying to walk as much as I can and taking gas-x. Anyone have any other tricks? Heat pad is lovely way to help with the pain. 1 1 Merill and FarfelDiego reacted to this

I am glad that you will be going to the medical board. If the hospital was losing money I am sure they would make a change. I wonder if they could refund your costs to date? The distress of this must be so hard. Channel your hurt/anger into some exercise or whatever you think will have a positive effect. Hopefully on Friday a solution will be found. I would love to hear the outcome. Hugs dear lady.

I had mine the 13. I gained weight because I was so swollen. It's is starting to come off. I gained 6 lbs and now I am down those 6. Can't wait for next week and walking more to see how much I will use.

My first follow up with surgeon is on Monday. One of my incisions (the one where the stomach was pulled out) is still a bit swollen, and the entire area around it has started itching unbearably! No redness or sign of infection. Just ITCH.

Lee anne 38 Posted May 19, 2022 I am itching as well. The incision that had the drain is still leaking a little of clear Fluid. No redness. I want it to heal so that I can get into the pool soon. Today is day six and I can't believe the difference in one day. Every morning when I get up I feel as though someone kicked me on the gut. It's slightly sore/stift but not near the pain. I am just tired. Anyone else want a nap Every day? 1 FarfelDiego reacted to this
