Do you suppose anyone else finds it weird how many different sets of preop and postop instructions there are out there? Like, you say you have a 1 week liquid diet. My surgeon wants a 2 week liquid diet, with one small meal a day allowed. I've seen people on here who only had to do liquids for a couple days before. It's so varied, it's wild to me lol. 2 Mariann812 and SleeveToBypass2023 reacted to this

I have a high BMI and I have to have all liquids for 2 weeks. I have seen some on here with higher BMI than me or the same and they are allowed a low calorie, low carb, lean Protein meal. No such luck for me. Ultimately its down to what the surgeon doing the surgery wants. I too find alot of varying directives on this.... 🤔
