ElyQuint 446 Posted March 20, 2022 Ok. So the apron skin is getting chafed and blistersy underneath but a search for underwear that protects it is coming up empty. Who recommends what? Ive got medicated spray powder and baby wipes but I live in the south and I garden. Help! The Greater Fool 2,054 Posted March 20, 2022 I never found much of anything that helped with the under pannus issues. My recollection is the yeast infections, irritations, smells, etc. got better as I neared and passed goal. Compression garments helped (I used running tights) keep the pannus from going one direction while I was going another. Get yourself to a doctor and get your issues documented, as it will make your abdominoplasty (Tummy-Tuck) a "reconstructive" procedure for which insurance will pay, as opposed to "cosmetic" for which insurance will generally not pay. A history of failed attempts to deal with issues is important, or at least it was for me. Good luck, Tek 2 STLoser and catwoman7 reacted to this
ShoppGirl 5,007 Posted March 21, 2022 (edited) I second the idea to go to a doctor to document that it is a true medical issue. I don’t envy what you are going through now but you will hopefully be lucky in the long run that you do have enough of an issue that insurance will likely cover removing it. In the meantime, I have heard people mention the under armor products or similar. Edited March 21, 2022 by ShoppGirl
