PuraVida37 715 Posted March 12, 2022 I just signed up for my first 5K race (on Mother's Day!) and suddenly I'm so emotional that I'm shaking. I've done several 5Ks in the past, both before and after my lapband in 2013 (lost 95 lbs, got pg then gained it all back plus more), but I just can't believe I'm back and going to be able to do this again! I'm in tears thinking about how much I've changed in the past year (sleeved on 3/26/21), and I'm so proud that I'm bursting. I'm half way through week 4 of Couch to 5K and things are going awesomely. I'm scared too, though, because I have fears that I'll tear something or get injured. And anyone who did C25K before knows the dreaded 20 min run is next week. I'm trying to be super careful and methodical about my stretching before and after training so I can continue running. It makes me feel invincible. 2 1 1 Tufflaw, summerseeker, I♡BypassedMyPhatAss♡ and 1 other reacted to this

blackcatsandbaddecisions 852 Posted May 5, 2022 I have to say the c25k app got me back into running post sleeve. I just ran my first sub 30 minute 5k race last weekend. The app works!
