Kris77 1,538 Posted March 10, 2022 Not sure i qualify as a veteran. I’ll be 4 years out in July. Lost 100 and have maintained that weight loss. Best decision I ever made. Only regret was that I didn’t do this sooner. 😊 2 1 catwoman7, HashiHope121 and I♡BypassedMyPhatAss♡ reacted to this

mi75 1,235 Posted March 11, 2022 I'll be 8 years out this June!! I was doing great but have struggled with a 25 lb regain over the last year since I had covid. ordered some new Protein earlier this week and plan to get totally refocused over the weekend (once it arrives)! Was doing Keto for the last 6 years and did great initially but have realized that I'm not losing anymore with it because my fat intake was just too high, so going back to a strict post-surgery eating plan. 1 Cathy R. reacted to this

Stella S 612 Posted March 16, 2022 7 years in early April. Yes up 15 from low but that is ok too. - I have been in n unhealthy mode much of my life so this has been a shift in life since 2015. Life is easier somehow at 135 lbs. Still keeping it low carb… mostly. 1 Tink22-sleeve reacted to this
nimaro 1 Posted March 20, 2022 I am 9 years out. I lost 110kg and maintained goal for 3 years then went on mental health medication and gained back 70 kg of it and have just recommitted to eating the way I did to lose it the first time so I’m going back to goal ! Danny Paul 761 Posted March 27, 2022 Going on 5 yrs this August. Stayed pretty much on track with my weight loss. Gain a pound or two then panic sets in and lose it. I tell people that I'm a mere mortal now when it comes to weight loss. My weight loss super powers have left me. For me, weight losses are in ounces not pounds. It's a daily struggle but one that I'll continue to make for my good health. My best to everyone. 1 FarfelDiego reacted to this

teedsg 253 Posted April 22, 2022 I’m 5 years out and struggling! I never hit goal with the sleeve. I should have had the bypass instead. Best wishes to all in your journey.

teedsg 253 Posted April 22, 2022 @danita75 I wish this was possible, but I'll need to pay out of pocket and use loans most likely. I have insurance, but it doesn't cover it.
sschoch30 60 Posted June 30, 2022 I am 7 years out. I was 168lbs but I’m back to 205. My goal is 170-175lb. Medication changes caused my weight gain.
samuelsmom 670 Posted July 5, 2022 I will be at 8 years in November. I never made it to goal but that was ok. Had over a 100lb loss. It started to creep slowly back on- about 10 pounds a year or so. I started to watch more last year and am back to the lowest post-surgical weight so I am very happy with that. I may try for another 25 pounds or so. I haven't decided yet :). 1 FarfelDiego reacted to this
Stella S 612 Posted July 11, 2022 Sleeved in 15 so it has been a bit. I had no severe concerns and do pop in here monthly or so. I am still WSL patient. It is just part of my life. Smiles.
