pcoswarrior1994 10 Posted February 28, 2022 I have acanthosis nigricans which is the very unfortunate side of PCOS, anyways I was just wondering if anyone who had the bypass and has this skin condition how does your skin look now? did you guys have to have some type of laser, or any other treatments afterward so it can fade? pintsizedmallrat 473 Posted March 2, 2022 Mine wasn’t too bad but I did have some Patches of what you’re talking about—on the back of my neck and under my arms mostly. I’m almost six months out from my procedure (sleeve) and have lost 87 pounds and the spots are GONE. I was truly shocked but I even had my fiancé take photos of the back of my neck and it just looks like a neck now!
newmebithebypass 713 Posted March 22, 2022 I had that so bad before surgery. My skin looks amazing now. One thing tho I have the most sensitive skin now. Anything sets off a rash. Sent from my SM-A326U using BariatricPal mobile app
