GradyCat 3,695 Posted February 11, 2022 I learned about these from a grocery haul video on YouTube. If you remember the old Teddy Grahams from the 1990's (do they still make those?) they remind me of those or kinda like animal crackers. They're called KODIAK BEAR BITES and they are graham crackers in three flavors: chocolate, Honey, or Cinnamon. They are adorable and I even like the design of the box, as if that was important. A single serving (as if you could eat just one serving!) is 15 crackers, for 120 calories, 17 carbs, 2 fibers, 5 g Protein, and 3.5 g fat.
lizonaplane 1,613 Posted February 11, 2022 To me, those are Cookies. It has 5g of added sugar for only 30 grams of food. That's a lot of sugar!!! Sure, they have some Protein, but so does yogurt, cheese, Protein Drinks, Beans, meat, tofu, ... It might be nice for a treat, but only if I could stop myself at one serving. 4 Spinoza, SleeveToBypass2023, GradyCat and 1 other reacted to this
catwoman7 11,220 Posted February 12, 2022 (edited) I'd have no problem at all eating 15 of those - if not more! They'd be better for an occasional treat. If I had them around all the time, I'd be eating them... on the other hand, the calories aren't too bad for 15 little Cookies. LaoDaBeirut 158 Posted February 12, 2022 Is this really all that different nutritionally than regular Cookies? I've noticed a trend of all kinds of food just putting Protein on the label if it has any protein at all when it's not really a protein packed or healthy food. 1 lizonaplane reacted to this
