dannaO 3 Posted February 3, 2022 I started my journey in July, 2021. I'm am 47 years old female, almost 48 next week. I've been heavy all my life. I have currently lost aprox 55 lbs. Waiting on surgery approval from insurance. I was diagnosed with MS in 2012. I have issues with mobility and trying to do exercises. Guess it's more motivation also is needed. This last week I've anxiety issues with some neighbors. Doing good at not eating my emotions. Anxiety is doing a number on my body. Looking for friends and accountability. I'm from PNW Oregon.Sent from my SM-T878U using BariatricPal mobile app 3 Arabesque, lizonaplane and ioutfoxedyou reacted to this

summerseeker 2,236 Posted February 3, 2022 Hello Danna, Welcome to this wonderful site and all the great advice in it. Well done on the weight loss so far.. My anxiety has improved at every pound I have lost and it feels amazing. I went away for a week by the sea with friends last week and truly never once felt anxious or that everyone was watching me. Good luck on your journey
lizonaplane 1,613 Posted February 3, 2022 Good on you for taking some steps towards a healthier life, and congrats on the weight loss so far! Talk to your neurologist maybe about some exercises that are tailored to your abilities or ask to work with a physical therapist.
learn2cook 588 Posted February 4, 2022 I’m glad you’re here. I used to know many athletes in CO who had MS. I have found the weight loss has helped me tremendously with mobility (arthritis).
