ioutfoxedyou 10 Posted February 3, 2022 Hello everyone! I just had roux en y gastric bypass done yesterday and, when researching support groups, found out about you all! I am looking forward to exploring the threads, learning about all of your journeys, and gaining some insight into what is to come. A little about me: I'm 32, a mom to an almost 10 year old girl, and I have struggled with multiple chronic health issues for the better part of a decade. Medications for these problems added a bunch of my weight, and some unhealthy choices added the rest. My goals are to lose about 90-100 pounds, lower my cholesterol and triglycerides, and heal from some really bad GERD. I'm excited and ready to make it all happen!Sent from my SM-G970U1 using BariatricPal mobile app 2 2 1 Possum220, Jalapeño, Mariann812 and 2 others reacted to this

ioutfoxedyou 10 Posted February 3, 2022 WELCOME [emoji4] How was the surgery? I am still waiting on the pre op requirements. Thank you! It went really well! Nausea was bad the first day but everything else has been manageable. Which procedure are you prepping for?Sent from my SM-G970U1 using BariatricPal mobile app

I am fairly certain I will have a RNY as I have a hiatal hernia that must be repaired. You are almost 2 months out from your bypass, right? How are you feeling? I’m hoping for 4/11 surgery date.
