wdbass 5 Posted February 2, 2022 I had surgery 2 days ago, which went better than expected. Mine was done primarily for GERD, but also because my weight was going up. My weight when I left for the hospital on Monday was 254. When I got on the scale this morning it was 264! I know this is all due to fluids taken at the hospital, but I was still surprised by how much! Any thought on how long it will take to lose this?
catwoman7 11,220 Posted February 2, 2022 yep - fluids. It can take up to a week for it to work its way out of your system.
GradyCat 3,695 Posted February 3, 2022 Oh throw that scale out the window for at least the first month and just focus on healing and transitioning. Weight doesn't matter at this point.
