MissMarie 6 Posted January 29, 2022 Hi All, I am 3 months post VSG and found out I am pregnant, it was unexpected and I’m nervous. My surgeon says it safe and I am meeting with the dietitian to make sure I get enough Protein and nutrients to sustain. Has anyone else been through this? TIA. 1 GreenTealael reacted to this
liveaboard15 1,293 Posted January 30, 2022 I see post on here almost weekly about people getting pregnant soon after surgery. Saw one a couple weeks ago that they were only like a month out. Try using the search box at the top of the page and type in Pregnant. It will show you a bunch of topics regarding it. Some info for you until some people reply to this post Good luck. 1 GreenTealael reacted to this
Arabesque 7,417 Posted January 30, 2022 Congratulations. It’s great you’ve spoken with your surgeon & are seeing your dietician to discuss your changing needs. You may be surprised how little you will have to change your diet or increase your calories to support your growing baby. You’re not eating for two adults but for yourself & a very small baby. 1 GreenTealael reacted to this
