GradyCat 3,695 Posted January 19, 2022 These dumbbells were delivered to me yesterday that I had ordered on Wal-Mart.com. I wasn't expecting them until tomorrow. I'm looking forward to incorporating these into my fitness routine. I do 90 minutes a day of cardio. But sometimes at home in the afternoon I do more cardio and I've been using Soup cans to add resistance. Now I have 3 lb, 5 lb and 8 lb weights to use. I found some great arm toning 10-minute workouts on YouTube. Naturally I can do some heavier lifting and use the strength training machines at the gym, but these small light dumbbells are just for home incidental use when I have a few extra minutes and some extra energy to enhance my gym workout. While I would actually like to add some arm muscle, I guess I'd be happy to just tone what I already have. 1 Cheryl 13 reacted to this
Guest Posted January 19, 2022 Yay, lifter team! Pro-tip: chest and shoulder work really gives you that toning that takes the pounds off, visually.
Queen ApisM 427 Posted January 19, 2022 I love your set - mine are a beat up mess literally held together with duct tape in sections. Even at my heaviest, I have loved lifting! So much fun and it makes every day life easier. 1 GradyCat reacted to this
haydoncollea 2 Posted February 2, 2022 (edited) I really liked the aesthetic look of these dumbbells. But I have some doubts about their practicality. I assume that such small dumbbells will be effective for you for a maximum of 1-2 months, and in addition these are not collapsible dumbbells, so you can't purchase plates separately. Even for cardio, this is too light weight. To save both money and space in your home, I would recommend you to purchase quality professional equipment. The feature is that they have dumbbells that you can put on and take off plates on them, and you can adjust the weight from about 0.5 kg to 30-40 kg. Moreover, at the same time you will have only one pair of dumbbells, and discs that you can stack one on top of the other, this will take up minimum of space.
