GradyCat 3,695 Posted January 7, 2022 For the past six days, the first six days of the year, I have registered over 10,000 steps each day on my FitBit between working out an hour at the gym each morning, then another 30 minutes at home later in the day. But we have ice on the roads this morning. Treacherous driving. Which means no going to the gym for me this morning. It's only 11F out, so it's frigid and the roads are going to stay frozen. So I don't know how on earth I can get 10,000 steps at home, but I'm going to give it a heck of a try!
catwoman7 11,220 Posted January 7, 2022 I like "Reps to the Rhythm" videos on youtube. It's my favorite "walking" type of video (although it's more intense and "dance-y" then some - so more of a cross between a walking video and something like Zumba). He has a bunch of different lengths of videos - and they're rated by color (I think the red ones are the most intense - but there's at least one blue one that I know of that's pretty intense - and my favorite one to boot). Anyway, the longer ones would give you 10,000 steps. Or you could do two or three of the shorter ones (he does include the step counts on his videos) 2 GradyCat and lizonaplane reacted to this
SummerTimeGirl 582 Posted January 7, 2022 (edited) Yup, free online walking videos. Most TV subscriptions have free ones you can look up too. Either way you will find a ton of them by various people. Or just put on some tunes and march in place in your living room or do laps around your house (inside or out) until you reach your goal. Good luck!! Yep, I put in my new wireless earbuds and my songlist on my Android phone and did all kinds of silly things to keep in motion, including also some squats and bicep curls and rows. 1 SummerTimeGirl reacted to this

I knew AARP and Silver Sneakers had some short fitness videos online but I never even thought about YouTube. D'oh!😀
