I'm sorry! Don't be discouraged though. You'll get there.

I hear you @fisherman1234! I'm betting I'll feel that way up until they wheel me back there...

I started my liquid diet today to prepare for surgery on February 3. I was so happy to learn that Health Wise oatmeal is allowed. It was yummy, and did not feel like another “liquid”!

Cheated on pre op diet and surgery is next week can anyone tell me what to do

Just get back to pre op diet. Your going to cleanse yourself day before surgery. I’m sure you will be ok

Yay! I start my liquid diet on Thursday.
Same here. Start pre-op diet (protein shakes + cup of fruit + cup of veg + liquids) on Thursday. So manumy appointments between now and then (meet with Surgeon, labs, meet with hospital staff, COVID test).

Anyone have a realistic hospital bag packing list for 1 night? Imagine I will be sleeping and don't want to take anything unnecessary. This is my first hospital stay.

I’m not bringing much, A pair of comfortable sweats or pajama pants to walk the hall ways. My phone and my iPad just in case I want to watch a movie. Other than that they supply all the toiletries.

So I am a little freaked out about my insurance. Surgery is scheduled for 2/3, and I am super excited now that I am on the liquid diet. (I think it seems real now.). But, I learned today that unless and agreement is reached between the hospital and Anthem in the next week or so, the hospital will not be in-network on February 1!
