Esi 179 Posted December 1, 2021 (edited) Has anyone tried the new GENEPRO, 3rd generation, sold in the orange canister? I was disappointed the old one (sold in white bags) is gone, as it was the only unflavored Protein Powder I couldn’t taste nor smell. Others make me nauseous. I read bad reviews of the new formula on Amazonso wanted to see if anyone here has experience with it. Thanks! Edit: upon reading the fine print, the new version has a larger scoop and only a third of the Protein of the old version. Not just bad volume wise (yuck), but also nutritionally and pricewise. Looks like I will need to find the old version or use a different brand from now on. Edited December 1, 2021 by Esi
SummerTimeGirl 582 Posted December 1, 2021 Following. I just drug out what's left of my old bag of unflavored GENEPRO in hopes of upping my Protein to break my month long stall. I also went onto their website because I may need to purchase more and also noticed the new stuff. Curious if anyone has tried it.
Tupelo 23 Posted December 1, 2021 (edited) GENEPRO lost a lawsuit over misleading labeling regarding the Protein content. It never had 30 grams of protein in 7 grams of product. The "new" Genepro is the same product without the falsification. Edited December 1, 2021 by Tupelo 1 HSV Olivia reacted to this
SummerTimeGirl 582 Posted December 1, 2021 (edited) Looking on the packaging it shows............. OLD ONE: One serving......serving size is one scoop (7.2 grams) contains 30 grams of Protein NEW ONE: One serving.......serving size is one scoop (11 grams) contains 11 grams of protein. Well that sucks! Edited December 1, 2021 by SummerTimeGirl 1 Esi reacted to this

When I checked in with my nutritionist and surgeon, they okayed Genepro. Is this lawsuit more recent, in the last few months? Trying to figure out how to proceed with Protein Powder. I tried a few others (unflavored) and they smelled and tasted like mold. Discarded them. (Edit: Includes Isopure Unflavored, and bipro Boldly Bare Unflavored). Does anyone have an unflavored protein powder that smells and tastes like nothing, truly? Edited December 2, 2021 by Esi
Mz D 25 Posted December 14, 2021 Just got around to trying the new GENEPRO gen 3. Not for me! I tried to hide it in my some sugar-free oatmeal and it clumped so bad I tossed it after just taking a few bites. Terrible! 1 1 Esi and SummerTimeGirl reacted to this

Terrible!Been using GENEPRO for years, you can't put it in either extreme cold or hot. For example, after I add some almond milk to my coffee, it mixes perfectly. Esi 179 Posted December 15, 2021 I changed to Syntrax unflavored Protein powder. Very slight smell in the container, but almost imperceptible in oatmeal. I won’t be buying GENEPRO again after I finish what’s left.
Veritas34 26 Posted July 2, 2022 Any update on this since last years last post ? I was looking to get this to add to some of my pureed foods to get my Protein in. I suck at getting my liquid Proteins in. Id like to add this to my scrambled eggs and some others .
