Bariatric Fusion vs Bariatric Advantage

Recommended Posts

Hello Beautiful People,

Gastric Bypass is definitely a go for November 23, 2021. I have purchased some Meal Replacement shakes and supplements from Bariatric Fusion, but I recently came across Bariatric Advantage. Has anyone had experience with both brands???? Which do you prefer???? Or does it no really make a difference????

Thank you in advance!!!! 💛💛💛💛

individual tastes vary so much that you're likely to get fans on either side. It really comes down to personal taste. I would guess that they're both very good brands, so either would be a good choice...

It comes down to personal taste/what you can tolerate/what you're willing to spend (Bariatric Advantage tends to be more pricey than Bariatric Fusion). I used to take the Bariatric Advantage Calcium until I discovered the Celebrate brand calcium which is so much cheaper ($59 for a 4.5 month supply verses what would cost $75 for the Bariatric Advantage one that would last the same length of time) and both taste good to me (I get the tablets over the chews because the calcium chewable tablets from both are more pricey. You save $8 for the Bariatric Advantage tablets verses the chews, while you save $46 on the Celebrate tablets verses the chew ones). So yeah. Taste, tolerance, and price are all key factors into what one's are the better choice for each individual person.

I will look into Celebrate as well. Price isn’t much of an issue. I have HSA with my job/insurance and so far I have been able to use it for the supplements. I always have money left over each year. So price isn’t an issue. I was asking in terms of quality. Noticeable differences in the way you feel.

My surgeon told me that of her patients that used Bariatrc Advantage had the best post-op labs, by far. Their Protein is pretty expensive, so I got mine through GNC or Walmart. After the chewable Vitamin phose, I stuck with their non-chewable Multivitamins. I don't know...I feel good! Their chewy Calcium tablets are pretty awesome.

I would eat the Bariatric Advantage calcium chews as candy if that wasn’t such a terrible idea. It’s like a starburst laffy taffy. 💖

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
