glowdawn 0 Posted December 12, 2007 Hi There my name is Dawn, in Boise Idaho, and I had lap band surgery in TJ with Dr. Kuri last friday. What a whirlwind! So I'm home, and took another day off of work, but back tomorrow. I am a hairstylist so it should be interesting standing all day. I have tried to schedule myself breaks to rest. I was so happy to find this site! I was snubbed on the Yahoo forum after making a very polite complaint about the Water in Tijuana. That's ok. Over all my experience was good, and I really liked Dr. Kuri. I would have never been able to afford to have this done here in the states, and I'm thankful to have been referred to a good doctor. I weigh about 250, and would like to be around 160 or so. So far so good with eating. I was naughty tonight and had a much needed glass of wine after the hectic trip.
