Jaim423 5 Posted January 7, 2022 Definitely in pain, moving around ok though. Had moments of questioning why I did this to myself earlier but I know I made the right choice! 1 Kinky38 reacted to this

bls0311 1 Posted January 10, 2022 I had my surgery on Jan 4th as well. Had the sleeve like 6 years ago, but gained a lot of weight back. All is going well so far. I see my doctor this Thursday for follow up and hopefully I go on soft foods! 1 Kris10_78 reacted to this

Any insight to share?! Oh no! I’m glad it’s still on though! Today is the first day that I’ve felt like myself, and I’m up doing laundry and things. The biggest thing that I can say, and I know everyone says it, is STAY HYDRATED. I missed my hydration goal a few times and had to go get an IV to replies what I lost, and I didn’t realize how bad I felt till I was hydrated again. The slow sip sip sips were killing me, so I’m not chugging Water, but I’m taking normal drinks and that seems to be working so much better for me. EDIT: I don’t know about other’s, but the absolute worst pain for me, for about 4 days out was the CO2 gas stuck in my chest. It feels awful, but it will pass!
