Aaron Curlin 1 Posted November 5, 2021 Hi everyone, I just recently had a gastric sleeve on Monday and am on a liquid diet for about 3 more days. Could anyone help me out on what they ate(or drank) that got them a little full but not sick? Any suggestions will help thank you very much!! 1 OutdoorsGirl reacted to this
Dave In Houston 199 Posted November 5, 2021 I mainly had Protein Shakes and Water. Once in a while I would have a Progreso canned Soup, ground in the blender and with some added broth to make it a liquid. Things will get more interesting when you get to the puree phase. 1 ClareLynn reacted to this

pintsizedmallrat 473 Posted November 6, 2021 Bone Broth can be really tasty and good for you, it offers some Protein. Swanson makes them in little sippy cups you put in the microwave.
Arabesque 7,403 Posted November 6, 2021 (edited) Soups. I tried Bone Broth but found the flavour unpalatable (too salty & too strong for me) but the old cup of soups of fine. Some creamy, some not. Strained them first to avoid random chunks or herby bits. Edited November 6, 2021 by Arabesque
Vfls 11 Posted November 6, 2021 chicken Bone Broth with spices added. I actually drank it as my main Fluid as it has 9 Protein a serving. When I wanted it as a meal I would add GENEPRO protein in. Right now my nutritionist wants me to drink less bone broth and more Water.
vikingbeast 987 Posted November 7, 2021 Another vote for savoury broths, but watch out because some are very salty. I loved miso ramen broth; phở broth was a little bit too salty for me.
Nanalavacana 0 Posted November 11, 2021 I made homemade broth and added Bone Broth for Protein. You can add garlic cloves, cilantro and other veggies just for taste.
