summerseeker 2,236 Posted November 2, 2021 So, Today is my last day of eating the way I do. Tomorrow, I start a 21 day pre op diet. Milk , non starchy veg and yoghurt. For my last evening meal I had braised oxtail with mashed potatoes and gravy. What did everyone else have ? 1 Summermoose reacted to this
vikingbeast 987 Posted November 2, 2021 An entire pizza with sausage, onion, and pepper. Looking back I cannot believe I ever allowed myself to eat like that. I haven't even tried pizza yet and if I did I am sure I'd make it through a third of a small slice before being done. 2 summerseeker and Summermoose reacted to this

ShoppGirl 5,003 Posted November 3, 2021 I had mine a few days before so it wouldn’t be such a shock to get to the pre Op diet but I definitely had my last supper. It was Chinese. Sweet and sour chicken. I usually have that for New Year’s Eve. Not sure what I will do this year (lean cuisine version maybe)?? 2 summerseeker and Summermoose reacted to this
ms.sss 15,713 Posted November 3, 2021 Honestly I don’t remember! But i do know it wasn’t anything special or planned. It was just another day, i think….AND it was also the last day that I didn’t log my food for the past 3 years…which is too bad cuz it would have been interesting to know. 2 Summermoose and summerseeker reacted to this

Smanky 751 Posted November 3, 2021 I didn't have a last supper, we were in a long lock-down and so going to a favourite restaurant wasn't an option. So I spent the weeks counting down to my pre-op diet baking foccacia and cakes and making lasagna and noodle stir fries. By the time the pre-op diet came around I was ready for it. 2 summerseeker and Summermoose reacted to this

Yes I feel the same, I have waited a long time for this chance. Bring it on. 2 Summermoose and Smanky reacted to this
Summermoose 193 Posted November 4, 2021 I had half a grilled bbq chicken with aioli and rustic bread from one of my favourite restaurants, man did I suffer afterwards with an IBS flare 😆 1 summerseeker reacted to this
mswillis5 127 Posted November 6, 2021 My wife and I had surgery together and the last meal we had before surgery was Sushi. At 1 year out, we are able to tolerate rice but haven't had a true sushi roll since. I also haven't had a soda in over 1 year now and don't miss them as I wasn't a regular soda drinker. 1 1 summerseeker and Summermoose reacted to this
ardelia 41 Posted December 8, 2021 My incredibly kind neighbors prepared my "last supper". It was unreal. Filet mignon. Lobster tail. Cheesy potatoes. Roasted Brussels sprouts. And for dessert? Spiced chocolate pot de creme. I'm still dreaming about that meal...today is Day 3 of my 2-week pre-op diet. 4 Artista, Summermoose, Eagles8120 and 1 other reacted to this
