blahblahblah 4 Posted December 12, 2007 Paulex...They are just at the cusp...I think...they are 33inches long...I am between a 33 and 34...I have a long torso...and long legs...I've always felt that was frustrating...but perhaps it is better in the long run. Losingjusme! Hello friend. I owe you a pm...sorry. They are snug, but more comfy than regular jeans...partly because there is no bulge of fat over the top...Ahhh...the lack of muffin top! Thanks for your compliments girls...I feel way better in these than I look...but I put them up against my side shot from the day of surgery...and I look darn good...for me...I can't wait to lose my gut...It's so like a man's... Rain

NukeChik 1 Posted December 12, 2007 Those jeans look excellant! I will have to try and find them, I'm also 6 feet tall. Almost everything I wear has to be from Eddie Bauer because I have to have tall everything!!! They are the only store I know of that has almost every item available in tall size, even jammies. NukeChik 1 Posted December 12, 2007 Thanks for the link Paulax, I just went to that website and they look like they have some really cool stuff!! I'm not going to buy any clothes for now though. I sure can't wait to get some new clothes when all the weight is off!!!
Boo Boo Kitty 3 Posted December 12, 2007 WOOO HOOO Rainer! I also have Tummy Tuck jeans from Smith's. I have the Marilyn Monroe jean. I got them at Sam's club, no joke! I live in mine!
new_me_2008 1 Posted December 13, 2007 Rain - these are awesome!!!! I am going to buy them right now. Good Job!
mbanja 1 Posted December 13, 2007 Question, you said they were high waisted, do they bother your port. My port is positioned to the left of my belly button about an inch up and tight jeans will make it sore. Any feedback?
blahblahblah 4 Posted December 13, 2007 I worried about that as well...but after wearing them today I can honestly say that they felt fine...I had that trouble with other jeans that I owned prior to these. They are a thin material...so I think that helps!!! I think you could buy them from Nordstroms and keep the tags on and then be able to return them after wearing them around the house for a while to see if they bug your port... Best of luck! mbanja 1 Posted December 13, 2007 Thanks for the feedback Rain! I might just have to get a pair. I hate spending alot so I usually go to Walmart and buy my jeans but my tender port might just need a pair of these bad boys!!! Great excuse! LOL
Ang1982 4 Posted December 13, 2007 II think you could buy them from Nordstroms and keep the tags on and then be able to return them after wearing them around the house for a while to see if they bug your port... Best of luck! Rain That's a good idea and one i'll have to remember for the future... Reminds me of a little unrelated story about how absolutely nucking futs some people are. Quite a few years ago when I worked at Penningtons (one of the FEW plus size stores in Canada) a lady came in with no receipt to return a pair of jeans she "supposedly" just bought only a couple of weeks ago because they were "crappily sewn and falling apart", she had no receipt and she wanted her money back. Well let me tell you - these jeans were not "slightly worn 1 week old jeans", they were faded, bagged out looking and the "falling apart" she was refering to was that the thighs had holes worn through (I'm sure all you ladies know how that happens with jeans, pisses me off when it happens to mine personally) and I was like uhh these are not just recently bought and she went OFF on me and demanded the manager... retarded I tell ya. /end mini unrelated thread, no intention of hijacking. Said it before, those jeans are awesome you look great.
LovingWhatIs 0 Posted December 13, 2007 Ang, funny! Jealous of you six footers.. Sheesh. 5 foot 2.5 (can't forget the .5) But I noted that they have petites on these jeans at Nordies. My daughter and I are going there over xmas and try a pair, then order over the internet. I am a 16 but once I hit and 10, I am getting those sexy velvet ones, and Palazzo jeans. Very cute. NukeChik 1 Posted December 13, 2007 Don't be too jealous love, it is hard enough to find clothes that are long enough when being "normal" size (up to a size 16-20 usually). There aren't many tall clothes that are made for people who are tall and wide!
