blahblahblah 4 Posted December 12, 2007 Literally... very comfortable and lightweight and gave me a butt... They are called Not your daughters jeans. I got the Tummy Tuck style and they are amazing. They are made for women who have curves, not their stick figure counterparts. Since I've had three kids, and have lost almost 80lbs, I have a ridiculous amount of extra skin...it's so nasty. Well, these come higher (AMEN) and are comfy and don't look like mom jeans. And my butt....oh my God...my butt...it is great. Well, the jeans are...not my butt... oh, and they are an 18...from a 28...Gracious me! Go buy these jeans.....(Nordstroms and Bloomies among other places...) ETA: I am tall...but not a giant...my mother in law took these from a seated position...and I wish I could get rid of my gut...I look like a male beer drinker...thanks, twins! Rain light jeans are my regular lane bryants....dark are my new NYDJ jeans

LovingWhatIs 0 Posted December 12, 2007 COOL! Thanks for the pics because that is what has convinced me to get a pair of these. They look great! It is remarkable the difference - nice booty, girl. Lisa
plump_princess 1 Posted December 12, 2007 cute.... and since I'm lacking in the butt department, too, I may have to p/u a pair...

munchkin392 1 Posted December 12, 2007 They carry these at Dillards also.
LovingWhatIs 0 Posted December 12, 2007 yeah, it looks like Dillards has the best online selection I could find. Lots of petites for us shorties. I have already Wishlisted 3 pairs. THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT RAIN! LOL. Well, with the money I don't spend on effing pizza anymore, what the hay.
blahblahblah 4 Posted December 12, 2007 Oh, I'm glad I'm not the only one breaking the bank for a pair of jeans... I was a little less than thrilled when I saw the price...but God...they are so comfortable...and my butt....have I mentioned that yet??? What I love is that there is no muffin top...thank goodness. Rain
Pattypoo1 0 Posted December 12, 2007 Wow, those jeans really make a difference. I just saw a bunch on eBay..much cheaper than the price Dillards wants for them. It's hard for me to spend that much money on clothes that I will only fit into for a few months. I will probably get one pair..thanks so much for the pictures..you look great in them. LovingWhatIs 0 Posted December 12, 2007 Rain, Are you supposed to get them a size smaller than you normally wear? One of the websites said wear a size smaller in these jeans. If I order online (I am out in the sticks, no stores) I want to try and get it right... ADVICE?
blahblahblah 4 Posted December 12, 2007 I'd say that's a good plan. I got an 18W...I fit into the 18, but there was slightly more room in the 18W's thigh... I think I'm more of a 20...so I would order down a size... Good luck! Rain
Paulax 8 Posted December 12, 2007 Wow, never saw the pictures til just now. It's like 'What Not To Wear' Look how much smaller they make you look. Love the dark wash. Excellent!!!!:clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2: Oh hey Rainer, I am just shy of 6ft... I can't believe your inseam is good. I shop at the Tall Girl Shop for 36" inseams. Ang1982 4 Posted December 12, 2007 Those look great Rain! Nice booty indeed. I can't wait to lose my weight and have the little enjoyment of NSV's like this. And on a side note, its recommended to buy jeans a bit on the tight side to begin with as they will stretch out fairly quickly.
