Sleevedupgirl1995 15 Posted October 25, 2021 How do I get back on track? I was able to get down to 170 with my goal 160. The last month I’ve ate whatever and went from 5 times to 2 times a week at the gym. Which has resulted in 5lbs regain in a month. I can’t go back to old habits but it’s hard to get back on track . Sleeve_Me_Alone 656 Posted October 25, 2021 Get back to basics. Focus on getting in your fluids. Weigh and track everything you eat. Eat your Protein first and aim to hit your protein goal every day. Get back to moving your body for at least 30 minutes a day. If you are struggling with those, or after a few weeks don't see improvement, reach out to your surgery center. Getting back to basics can be hard, but small steps add up, you can do it! 1 Vfls reacted to this

ASampson 3 Posted October 26, 2021 (edited) I feel you! I have regained 5 lbs over the past couple of months and I’m not exercising nearly as much as I used to. Definitely need to get my head back in the game. I am about 16 months out from VSG now and the restriction I used to feel when eating has all but vanished even when I stick to the “protein first” rule, so it makes it extra difficult to not overeat. 😝 Edited October 26, 2021 by ASampson 1 lizonaplane reacted to this

That makes me sad. I love the forum here where people post pictures of what they made then how much they ate. The first picture looks like 1-2 cups of food and the second picture shows they ate maybe 1/2 cup leaving a lot behind. I want to be a member of this “not clean small plate club” for life. Do you still get hungry? Edited October 27, 2021 by Vfls
ASampson 3 Posted October 27, 2021 Yes, I still get hungry. I never lost my hunger completely even in the beginning. It’s much more of a struggle to maintain my loss that I was expecting it to be.
