mali 19 Posted October 25, 2021 Hi all, I’m three months out from my sleeve. I lost 46 pounds and feel so grateful but now I’m stuck!!! I haven’t lost a pound in three weeks! Is this normal? Please tell me it’s not😩
Arabesque 7,442 Posted October 25, 2021 It’s likely just a stall. We almost all experience at least one, some experience a lot more. They usually last 1-3 weeks but can be longer. It’s just your body coming to terms with the changes: weight loss, reduced calories, etc. Your physical body gets stressed too & just sometimes needs to take a breath like we sometimes do emotionally & mentally. Keep doing what you’re doing & you will start to lose again. Congrats on your weight loss so far. 2 catwoman7 and lizonaplane reacted to this
lizonaplane 1,613 Posted October 25, 2021 100% what @Arabesque says. If your weight stays the same longer, you can try "shocking" your system by going up in calories for a few days or drinking more Water. You can also change up your exercise routine. Also, make sure you're tracking your intake (like on MyFitnessPal or Baritastic or something) to ensure you're keeping track of what you're eating and drinking to see your macros - are you getting enough Protein? Enough water? You've got this! 1 Sunnyway reacted to this

Pkump 47 Posted October 25, 2021 I have been stalled for 2 months. I keep track of everything but can’t figure out why I am stuck. I am still trying to lose that last 50.
njlimmer 343 Posted October 26, 2021 Stalls are fun. NOT! The shocking with extra calories seems to work for me. If I hit a couple of weeks with no real loss, if I splurge on something, I drop like 5 the next week. I think it has something to do with Leptin levels, but I'm not a medical pro or a nutritionist so take that for what it's worth.
mali 19 Posted October 27, 2021 So guess what? After three weeks on the same pound the scale finally started to move again!! For me I think the trick was eliminating carbs to shock my system and drinking a lot. I also added a probiotic and stool softeners to get my digestive system back in order. Hoping I could ride this wave for a while now! Good luck to all of you! 1 Summermoose reacted to this
ShoppGirl 5,024 Posted October 29, 2021 (edited) I had a few stalls. One lasted three weeks and I was worried it was the end of the loss but the loss picked back up and slowly but surely I continue to lose. Just stick to your plan. Oops. Looks like your loss did pick back up. Glad to hear it. Edited October 29, 2021 by ShoppGirl 1 Summermoose reacted to this
♡MyCurves 2 Posted December 5, 2021 Hi all, I’m three months out from my sleeve. I lost 46 pounds and feel so grateful but now I’m stuck!!! I haven’t lost a pound in three weeks! Is this normal? Please tell me it’s not[emoji30]Well I'm 6 weeks out and I hit a stall at 2, 4 & now my 6th week. Now, that's frustrating. I would look at your macros, Water intake and Vitamins. Calories as well. Might have to eat more calories, less or more Protein. Sent from my SM-G975U using BariatricPal mobile app
