Hlyn 12 Posted October 8, 2021 Anyone ever have days where it feels like they never had the surgery? Where there appetite is like it used to be ? There’s no off switch and you don’t even dump after? It’s freaking me out and I don’t know how to reset or fix it. I’m 3 months out and I’ve lost 60plus but now I’m worried. Anyone have any advice? 1 GreenTealael reacted to this
ShoppGirl 5,003 Posted October 8, 2021 Do you not still feel your restriction? Maybe you have trained your mind and don’t realize it but you are eating smaller portions if That is not kicking in. 1 GreenTealael reacted to this

When I was still in the weight loss phase, I had what I called "munchie" days, when I was hungry all day long. I learned not to fight it, but to make sure I ate nutritious, high Protein food and not junk. If I ate something and then an hour later I was hungry, I'd eat something else but it had to be something on-plan. I found those days were offset by an equal number of days when I had very little appetite and ate super-lightly. The good thing about munchie days is that they were often followed by a nice drop in weight. I have no idea how that works, but I observed that to be the case. 6 learn2cook, OutdoorsGirl, Hlyn and 3 others reacted to this

Dogmom68 135 Posted October 8, 2021 After my surgery I only lost my appetite for a few weeks and then my stomach started actually growling at me again! I have “munchie days”, too where I seem to be hungry all the time. I try to tell myself that it’s head hunger and resist grazing in the fridge. When I just have to have something I’ll have a Swanson’s chicken Sipping Bone Broth. It’s low calorie and pretty high in Protein and it does help curb my hunger. Try having more protein when you eat an actual meal. It does seem to help. 1 GreenTealael reacted to this
