1343 1 Posted September 17, 2021 My surgeon uses a robot to perform the surgery. It is totally manipulated by the surgeon but is supposed to be more precise and recovery is faster.Sent from my SM-N975U using BariatricPal mobile app

Lynnlovesthebeach 626 Posted September 17, 2021 Yes, mine was robotic 3 yrs ago. I think probably most are these days. A lot of laparoscopic and gynecological surgeries are "robotic assisted."

BeagleMom83 16 Posted January 18, 2022 I'm having robotic for my sleeve in March and I'm super excited. My son has undergone robotic procedures for other things and the recovery time/pain level vs. even regular laparoscopic is unreal.

Sent from my SM-N975U using BariatricPal mobile app I just had my sleeve surgery on This past Monday. It was done robotically, He says most precise. I have luckily not much pain since leaving hospital yesterday. Key is get off the chair or bed and walk.
