I was wondering 😉 Yes as body was in shock after surgery so the loss was more but it will level out so I’ve been told and you’ll find the following week you will lose more to make up for it, if you know what I mean. Chappers 8 Posted October 30, 2021 I tried chicken at 2 weeks plus but dud not go well. Threw it all up felt awful I think it's called dumping It scared the life out of me. But Tried it at just over 3 weeks was fine really enjoyed it. My nutrition lady said don't have anything dry always make sure it's moist it helps it slide down. Cookie.Monster 17 Posted October 30, 2021 How often is everyone eating/drinking at this stage? I am such a structured person, I feel lost in this. I am 4 days post op.

I am 4 days post op. I’m 5 days post op and having issues drinking and pooping (not to mention super gassy). I’m trying to go slow but I’m only at 12 oz Protein Shakes and @ 1 liter of Smartwater. I’m supposed to be at 2 shakes and 48 oz.

Chappers 8 Posted October 31, 2021 It's strange but I've had a stuffy nose since my surgery 06/10 But now everytime I eat my nose runs? Strange

I have a nutrition lady who for 1 month before gave me a full diet plan on what I liked then 3 days before it was Water and 3 Protein Shakes a day. Had bypass on 6th For 2 days Water only then a week of 2 shakes and Fluid. Then onto puree now on soft food. I'm struggling with eating meat so sticking with vegetable based meals as that sits better with me I am on 7-8 tiny meals a day. Big love to all on our epic journeys Xxx I‘m curious to see if there are any more europeans on here. My nutritional plan is so so different from what I‘m reading. We were allowed to eat as per usual till about 36h pre op. Since 4 days post op we‘ve been allowed to eat as per usual again just Protein first and easily digestible food. @Chappers how are you feeling with your bypass? I had a sleeve done but we got surgery around the same time

I had a sleeve done but we got surgery around the same time @Arancini I'm doing good. I was in hospital 5 days, had stomach drain removed after 10 days. It was key hole so I have 5 holes plus the drain one. The drain is still healing but nicely. The main work site is still bruised and tender but surgeon said I will feel swollen and pain for probably a few months. It feels like I've been punched and punched and punched but it's not as bad I thought it would be. I'm just over 3 weeks now and progressing from mush to more solid mush if you understand. I will be under the hospital for a year. But mine was done private and its a package which covers a year. I see surgeon again 18th. But see my nutrition lady and bloods doctor on Thursday where he will advise what supplements I require. I add Protein Powder to food 3 times a day to keep my levels up and do B12 injections once a month. How are you doing? My hardest problems are in the mind. I was brought up yo have 3 meals a day Breakfast lunch dinner But now I'm on 7-8 tiny meals a day which I think is too much in my head but they are the portion similar to a very small yogurt. But to eat anymore makes me so ill. But the advice my nutrition lady gives me is spot on (she has trained to do it I suppose) Stay strong and positive G Xxx
