Y'all I am stalled! I had surgery July 26th.

24 days PO and I have been stalled since about Sunday the 8th of Aug.

What can I do to get past this? It is driving me insane!!! I almost at 2 weeks of no change.

It’s just your body adjusting to all the changes. Don’t do anything different. Just follow your plan and trust the process.

it's the infamous "three week stall". Almost all of us experience that. In fact, if you do a search on this site of the three week stall, you will find about 17,000 posts on it (and no, I am NOT kidding!). Just stick to your program and stay off the scale for a few days. It'll break and you'll be on your way again. It usually last a week or two - but for a few people (a minority) it last for three. And just so you're prepared, you're likely to hit a few of these on your journey. It's a common part of weight loss...

Firstly, congrats on your 20 pound loss! that is a lot of weight in two weeks. I am going through the exact thing! We are even similar to pre-op weight and surgery date! and I am also at a two week stall. It is driving me insane! You are even ahead of me in the game!

I am losing my mind with this as well so know you are not alone in this.

Keep me posted on how your progress is going :)

I wish you the best of luck in your weight loss journey. Stay focused and you will succeed.

Very, very common and you’ll likely experience at least another one while you’re losing. Think of them as your body taking a breath from all the changes & stress - surgery, reduced caloric intake, change of diet, change of activity levels, etc. Just like when you sometimes need to close your door & take time away for yourself in times of stress so does your body.

Some say increase your calories &/or your exercise. I never changed a thing & stuck to my plan - why make more changes to stress my body more. The stall always broke. Yours will too.

U are experiencing what I've been told is unavoidable. I just passed my 2 week stall that happened 2 weeks after my surgery. I'm finally back on the downward slope of weight loss. Don't do anything different. Just be patient.

I hate the stalls too, but don't worry, it will break. I just broke one, and it took weeks! You will get there!
