Air bubble?

Anyone takes sips of Water or Soup and feel gurgling in the stomach or esophagus like they just swallowed air? Even though you know you didn’t? It almost feels like that first sip of a very carbonated beverage only it might just be water

Yes!! It’s completely normal. My surgeon said it’s because the pouch the allowed the air to pass through no longer exists. Had me nervous for a while. I’m 5 weeks post op and I don’t notice it as much anymore.

My surgeon told me it’s due to swelling and think of it as a smaller funnel. The Water swirls and swirls try taking smaller sips
