niceross 11 Posted July 11, 2021 I am 3 + years post op and have maintained my 90lb weight loss since then. I could really stand to lose 10 more lbs but have never been able to get it off. My current diet consists of 70 grams of Protein, 3 cups of veggies, 2 Protein Shakes and sometimes a vodka soda Water. Up my protein? I don’t eat carbs…maybe 20grams tops per day. Arabesque 7,414 Posted July 12, 2021 That doesn’t seem like much food at all. How many calories are you consuming? I stopped drinking Protein Shakes the week I began real food (week 8). I get all my nutrients in & hit my Protein goal every day by eating real food only. I don’t even take Multivitamins (haven’t since I was 8 months out). If you’re not losing, you may be at your base metabolic rate. Have a look at some Dr Matt Weiner’s you tube videos on resetting your base rate. He has quite a few on this subject alone so you may have to work your way through the list of his videos. I find his videos very straight forward. He has a book called a pound of cure & associated website which may be helpful too. https://m.youtube.com/user/DrMatthewWeiner
