Tinyhounds 57 Posted July 7, 2021 To get a surgery date!! I’m so happy, I scheduled my surgery today for August 6th and it can’t come fast enough! I started my journey in May of 2018. I enrolled in the 10 weeks of classes required by my insurance and then.... I broke both my feet. I stopped the classes half way through cause it was just too much to deal with. Then I started classes again in March 2019 and then... I got pregnant. I actually lost 70 lbs while pregnant, because I had hyperemesis gravidarum so badly that I couldn’t eat or drink and had to be on IV fluids for my entire pregnancy. Started classes again in 2020. BOOM. Covid. And then I needed surgery on my spine. But I finished my classes in January, had spinal surgery in March and I’m finally, FINALLY scheduled for my surgery!! Now all I have to do is wait for the next month to creep by. Come on August!!! 8 SummerTimeGirl, lizonaplane, Veronica-FS and 5 others reacted to this

cheryl o 60 Posted July 8, 2021 oh wow, you answered a question i am terrified to ask. You said you stopped half way cause it was too much! I feel that way!! The classes, the explanation of how i will feel afterwards, the constant need to keep up with meeting my Protein goals, it scared me so much i was depressed and feeling like that again. I still want the surgery but i dont know what to do. I have my pulmonologist appt on the 12th and 3 more nutrionist appt. i am overwhelmed [emoji17]Sent from my SM-G973U using BariatricPal mobile app

None of it was hard. It was just...a lot. I’m just ready to feel better. I’m ready to give my back and my feet and my hips a break. I’m ready to feel sexy in clothes again! And I bet you’re ready too. Don’t be afraid to ask anything! We’re all here to feel better! 1 Veronica-FS reacted to this
