Egglife wraps are AMAZING! I love the southwest flavored wrap and the everything bagel flavor.

I am pre-surgery and have used Egg life wraps to make Lasagna. They work great.

Do you know if they would work to make quesadillas? I only like other wraps if they are cooked. Also where do you buy them?

I haven't tried them as quesadillas. I find them a little thicker than a tortilla. But the southwest ones are excellent in taco or fajita casseroles.

Thanks guys! Lettuce bothers my tummy right now and I love me some lettuce. Every thing is trial and error with this tummy of mine.

Lettuce bothered me for about 7 months, just made me 'slime'. I shudder just remembering those episodes. It did resolve itself. I could only do toasted bread months out, and steak was just harsh until 1 year out. Maybe skillet toast the wrap just a bit if it seems too 'gunky' when filled. It's all so hard to predict until you try something - one small bite and wait 5 minutes. Enjoy the journey!

Not too sure about those others but I like these. They are “snack” size which is perfect for me right now and only 35 calories.

Where did you find these? I’ve had the mission carb balance ones, but they’re too big and I can’t eat the whole wrap.

Walmart believe it or not and in a tiny town so I imagine most Walmart’s have them.

I have in the past trimmed the others down though. Just use a pair of kitchen only scissors of course and fold it into quarters and it’s fairly easy to do in a pinch.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
