mandi78 3 Posted December 10, 2007 Hi, I had my surgery back in September. Well, a few minutes ago I was making the bed and bumped my hand on something right where my IV was during surgery. munchkin392 1 Posted December 10, 2007 It sounds like it's just a small hematoma (a little blood under the skin that leaked from the vessel). It will absorb back into the body. You can put a warm compress on it if you want. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
