Lalalinda 0 Posted December 9, 2007 Hi, everyone. My name is Linda and I've recently decided to go ahead with lap bank surgery. I have an appointment to see a recommended doctor for the first time and plan to have surgery within the first two weeks of January. I've lost and regained significant amounts of weight so many times, and I have a number of weight related health problems that are developing or getting worse. But, I want to ask all the veterans if they would go ahead knowing what they know now. Do you have any regrets? Has it been worth the considerable pain and forced lifestyle changes? I'd love to hear what you think!
jamietindall19 0 Posted December 10, 2007 CONGRATS!!!! I had my surgery on OCTOBER 10TH i have my first fill on december 11th i had alot of complications from the surgery and for the first week i thought i was gonna die so i had unusual side effects that most people proboly will not expierience from this surgery and still i would do it over again and again it is worth it when you see that weight come off and no that your life is going through a wonderful change the surgery it self is uncomfortable with some minor set backs give your self a good month to feel normal take at least a week off of work though you need it ! I dont miss my old life of eating at all!!!! YOu eat small a mounts but your full so ;you dont care that you can only eat small amounts does that make sense? JUST TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AFTER SURGERY!! DRINK LOTS OF WATER!!!!! that was my main problem i got severley dehydrated afterwards good luck !!!!!
Titslereaux 1 Posted December 10, 2007 You should do lots of searches around here since there's quite a variety of polls regarding this subject. Good luck with your decision.
Lalalinda 0 Posted December 10, 2007 Thanks for the encouragement. I'm glad to hear that even though you had complications, you're still excited about the process. Thanks again.
