Ashlore87 7 Posted July 29, 2021 Surgery was July 23rd, everything went smoothly I although it did take me a hours to completely wake up from anesthesia. I came home the next day just a little sore and have them had pains. I feel good, if I didn’t have the incisions or pics of my stomach my surgeon took for me.. I wouldn’t think I had surgery. I feel very blessed that everything is going well. I am just sick of having nothing but liquids :/ 2 Nissi151 and Maribelle76 reacted to this

tboston03 1 Posted July 31, 2021 My surgery was on July 19th. The procedure was smooth and only required one night in the hospital. The next day, I walked two laps around the wing and was home. I struggled with getting in Water and Protein in the beginning. Once I had a bowel movement, it has been easier. Good luck to you all.

sierra.1834 13 Posted July 31, 2021 I had my surgery on the 26th, so I am technically 5 days out. I am getting really tired of my Protein and Soup mix that I've been alternating through. I'm not saying I want more food, I just want something different. I had a sudden craving for Peanut Butter and I was wondering if anyone knew of any way to squash that craving? Any protein powder/drink recommendations?

Premier Protein has the chocolate Peanut Butter shake, never tried it myself though. 1 sierra.1834 reacted to this

Popsicles and Jello helped me a lot, I’m on week two and haven’t tried Peanut Butter yet I’m too scared to go against anything lol. I do obsessively search things other people have had and if there’s quite a few people I will. my favorite popsicle when I was little were those missile pops (cherry pineapple swirl) and I found them at Walmart sugar free! My first week basically consisted of my obsessively looking at food and finding something to eat, because I can not do anything warm and clear. (In my head) so gross to me for some reason. 1 sierra.1834 reacted to this

I got the great value brand powdered Peanut Butter from Walmart and I’ve been adding that to my yogurt and shakes because I miss peanut butter so much! It’s actually pretty good and it has protein in it so bonus. 1 sierra.1834 reacted to this
