Summermoose 193 Posted October 31, 2021 Little update, I’ll be 9 weeks po tomorrow and have lost 50 pounds! I’m so happy 😁 it took me a while to notice the weight coming off because I still felt the same, but I now also weigh less than my husband for the first time ever and I think that flipped a switch! 3 ColieCallwell, OutdoorsGirl and Tomo reacted to this
ColieCallwell 129 Posted October 31, 2021 Little update, I’ll be 9 weeks po tomorrow and have lost 50 pounds! I’m so happy [emoji16] it took me a while to notice the weight coming off because I still felt the same, but I now also weigh less than my husband for the first time ever and I think that flipped a switch! Congratulations!!! I'm 9 weeks post op too! I've lost 47 pounds. It is AMAZING! I had my 2 month post op at my surgeon's last week and they were happy with my progress. I was a little discouraged because I stalled out for about a week, but my nutritionist reminded me of all the NSVs...I've stopped having to use my cpap, my feet don't ache anymore, I'm down from a size 18 to a size 12. I still want to lose about another 40 lbs, and the weight loss is moving much slower now. I really have to be more diligent. We had a Halloween party to go to yesterday, and it is HARD to navigate the food (and drink) table at a party! My husband and I were the only sober people there, lol. But it was still fun! I'm learning you don't need food and alcohol to have a good time.Sent from my SM-N976V using BariatricPal mobile app 2 1 Tomo, Mariann812 and Summermoose reacted to this
Bariatric Boy 22 Posted October 31, 2021 9 weeks Post Op - Lost 45 lbs with 30 more to go....reduced my Blood Pressure medication dosage and reduced my CPAP PSI..... Feel great and able to workout on my eliptical for 30 minutes a day and still take 45 minute walks 5 times a week. Not quite clean yet with Blood Pressure meds but sober and feeling like I turned a corner after a 2 week plateau. 2 1 Summermoose, ColieCallwell and Tomo reacted to this
Jue 73 Posted November 1, 2021 My surgery was August 23rd not seen anyone yet and I wont buy scales all you do is weigh yourself all the time it's off putting not sure what I've lost yet but gone down about 3to 4 sizes in y clothes got a email with a date to see Dietician next week within a hour had another one the end of November now but still feeling good hope you all are well 1 Summermoose reacted to this
Bariatric Boy 22 Posted November 1, 2021 I was never a scale person......🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣, clearly because I became clinically obese and getting sicker each year before my Gastric Bypass. I do weigh myself each day but I am not obsessed by it but it is good to measure progress which keeps me focused on my target weight goal and by getting off my meds & CPAP completely & forever. See as a tool, one of many in your toolbox to get healthy vs a device of shame. 1 ColieCallwell reacted to this

Summermoose 193 Posted December 12, 2021 I’m two days shy of being 15 weeks po and I’ve lost 70 pounds (32 kg) I am so proud of myself 😃🥺 I can hardly believe it! I can almost taste the 99 kg mark, if I keep losing at this rate I’ll reach it mid January! 2 Tomo and muffin.x reacted to this
