Esi 179 Posted June 6, 2021 I tried three different Multivitamins, one capsule and two tablets. I keep vomiting. I figured out that I need to take Iron by itself because the slow-release version doesn’t make me sick. So I need an iron-free Multivitamin. Surgeon suggested gummies. When I checked the labels of gummies, they all contain added sugars (2-3 grams). The nutritionist said no added sugars, though. Does anyone take a gummies multivitamin, with no added sugar, and no iron? If so, what brand, and how does it taste? Thanks!
GummyBearQueen 115 Posted June 7, 2021 My Vitamins don’t bother me, but we were told no gummies. Some people use Flintstone chewables but they’re a bit lacking in daily values. Try BariatricAdvantage or Celebrate Vitamins. 1 Esi reacted to this

GaGirlGettingHealthy 98 Posted June 7, 2021 My surgeon recommended Flintstones Complete. Had surgery on March 1, 2021 and so far no issues. I was also told no gummies. 1 Esi reacted to this
catwoman7 11,220 Posted June 7, 2021 I was also told no gummies. Centrum Silver (and the generic equivalents) don't contain Iron. 1 Esi reacted to this

FrankSC 3 Posted September 8, 2021 (edited) I don't like to take gummies, sugar is unnecessary and that's all. Better powder or drops form Edited September 8, 2021 by FrankSC
jenny8791 11 Posted September 9, 2021 I was told absolutely no gummies as well. I take the ProCare Bariatric chewable formula with Iron. It's never upset my stomach. However a friend had an issue with the iron in it upsetting her stomach so she started taking it at night before bed. It worked for her.
ShoppGirl 5,004 Posted September 9, 2021 (edited) I was told no gummies as well. Your clinic may have samples. Bariatric Advantage had sample packs I received one at the nutritionist appointment but the clinic recommended them as well. Now that I think of it I believe the sample was a chewable that contained Iron though. It was the calcium citrate chew, the multivitamin chewable and something else (it may have been the one without iron I can’t recall). But most importantly, double check that you didn’t misunderstand the gummies suggestion. Edited September 9, 2021 by ShoppGirl
