THC...stressed

I need help if anyone has gone through this. My doctor told me that they will be testing me for THC, nicotine and whatever else before I can have my surgery and I have to test 3months clean on both. My surgery is in Sep, but I’m supposed to do my first test this month. I’m stressed because I don’t know exactly what day they are going test. I have just recently quit the weed and now working on the cigarettes.

I think those both stay in your system for a couple of weeks, so it probably isn't going to matter which day they test. It sounds like they'll be testing you again later. I would think if you quit now so that you're three months clean by the time of the surgery, you should be OK (but of course I don't know that for sure...)

Do they know you take marijuana? Mine did and had me wait 90 days between quitting and taking a test. It's annoying that how long THC stays in your system depends so heavily on so many factors. All you can do is hold on taking any more, cross your fingers. Worst case you'll have to wait and retake your first test which might push the date, but hang in there and you'll still be able to get your surgery. Good luck.
