Am I crazy for doing this so soon?

Thank you everyone for your replies and encouragement! My surgery is schedule for this Friday. I can hardly believe it. I've started my liquid diet and I'm already feeling tired of not getting to eat solids. But I can do this, my eye is on the big prize (or should I call it the tiny prize)

You are not rushing. You do it if you feel it's the right thing to do. I went to the seminar Sept 1st 2007 was approved and ready for surgery by Sept 28th. BCBS approved me in ONE DAY! It was destiny, everything was falling into place. Now don't get me wrong I did get some pre surgery jitters. I almost chickened out when they were wheeling me to the OR, but now I am glad I stuck through it. Good luck on your journey!
