funsize3 0 Posted May 28, 2021 I had my gbp surgery back in 2018 I was 205lbs I'm 4'10 with a very small frame. I was having health issues more than I can count on being in and out of the hospital. So the doc and I talked and decided that this would be good for me, so I did it. I had no issues and I went down to 110lb in like 6-8 months my energy was back I was able to enjoy riding bikes and going to the pool just everything outside including hiking and camping. I stayed that weight for a long time give or take a little. But it's now 2021 and with in the last two or three months my weight went down to 81lbs and I'm always nauseous and I have been vomiting a lot, my energy is down in always lightheaded and dizzy. I'm meeting with my doctor next week to talk about all of this but I feel I'm not getting enough. I'm getting scars cause I look sick all the time. I'm 48 and I'm thinking about having a gastric reverse done. Is this something to consider?
catwoman7 11,220 Posted May 28, 2021 it can be done, but it's a complicated surgery and they normally won't do it unless you have serious medical issues that can't be resolved any other way. I'd wait and talk to the doctor first - they may be able to figure out what's going on and treat it.
