Fast track BCBS New York

Someone told me you could be fast-track surgery for BCBS if your bmi is over 51 and you have other medical issues. Has anyone heard this before?

I hadn't heard that until a month or two ago. Someone else mentioned that here on BP. I think she also had BCBS insurance.
