CarbAlv 0 Posted April 19, 2021 I was wondering if it was okay to eat oranges at this stage and is eating 2-3 oz still okay, I'm almost going to hit 3 months and I get full pretty quick.Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
catwoman7 11,220 Posted April 19, 2021 at 3 months out oranges should be OK as long as your stomach can handle the acid in them (I can deal with some kinds of oranges - but I've had some that are too acidic) 2 Arabesque and CarbAlv reacted to this
Arabesque 7,418 Posted April 20, 2021 I found mandarins a little easier cause they’re less acidic. You just have to get rid off all the fibrous bits. You can only eat what you can eat. Don’t push yourself to eat more. If your medical team wants you to add more calories add a healthy snack like fruit, cheese, hummus on celery, etc. Your portion size will increase over time. Congrats on your surgery.
