RickM 1,752 Posted April 5, 2021 The Patches seem to work well for some, and not at all for others. All one can do it try them and see how your labs come out. In the spirit of minimizing variables during a time of major changes after surgery< I would be inclined to stick with normal oral supplements until establishing how much of what is needed in your particular case, and then trying the patch to see how they work for you in comparison. catwoman7 11,220 Posted April 5, 2021 I was going to say exactly what Rick said - they seem to work well for some, but not for others. I've never tried them since I was afraid I'd be in the latter group. I've considering getting some for taking on trips, though, so I wouldn't have to haul a bunch of pills and bottles along with me. Even if I'm one of the people whom the Patches don't work for, I don't think a week of getting no (or only a small amount of) Vitamins would be a disaster.
