Texrose575 0 Posted December 7, 2007 Today was not a good day! I was banded in September 07, lost 29 lbs in the first month and a half and nothing since. I had a fill about 3 weeks ago, and felt no change. I did fly earlier this week and I read somewhere that sometimes people feel restriction with flying....Everytime I would drink or eat anything today I would throw up (ugh nothing to throwup on liqids) within the hour. Then I had diharrea!!! The nurse said something may be stuck or i may just need an unfill..... Question, would you go and get an unfil or try to just get liquids down for a few days?:sick
rharriet62 0 Posted December 7, 2007 Hi, Do you think you could have the flu or flu-like symptoms unrelated to the band? I would probably wait a day and see what you feel like tomorrow afternoon. Keep in touch with your doc's office. It seems like a long time to just have the fill kick in to be too full (to me, anyway). Rose Today was not a good day! Throwing can be nothing, but can be a symptom of something really wrong. Get in touch with your Dr. immediately. Let the health care professionals help you mange this one. Your health is too important to take chances. Call the doctor. Let us know how it goes. Good luck, MMT
Texrose575 0 Posted December 7, 2007 thanks for the replies... was able to keep down some velvty potato Soup this morning. Feeling much much better. Still thinking about going in for a partial unfil. I'm sure I probably overate in the airport on Wednesday or just had a virus of some sort. Going to call the nurse back this morning to see what she thinks since I have to leave again for Utah on Monday......
